It would cost you as much to buy the land and rebuild this although the market has changed since. Still this is a great duplex for anyone wanting to move straight into their own brand new home where you only need to make some minor adjustments (and make it your own) without the hassle of going through the building process. It's a very good sized home as well (get a bit dark downstairs as the living areas face south) but it's compensated well by leaving the huge open plan living/dining area that opens out to the backyard and deck area. The location works although it can be a bit of a busy intersection .. but you could always fence of the front for the kids.
