This is the first time this property has been for sale since 1963 when the owner builder sold it to the current occupant's parents. If this is not an enormous endorsement of living happily in a home then I don't know what is. The brief confirms the amazing location near many Schools, ferry, local shops and the 4 Junctions. In addition, a heartfelt outline of how happy the owners were there as the many generations grew up and the large number of gatherings that were held including gun barrel views of the Fireworks.
Having walked past this home many times in my younger years, walking to school, I always assumed the amazing view of the City would be compromised by the road out the front. Having inspected the property, this is definitely not the case for a number of reasons. Car park is from the rear so access is not from the front, traffic is slow ( admiring the view and narrow lanes) and the house is set back a fair distance and at a height that cuts out visual or sounds of traffic.
