Unit 6/169 Gympie Terrace is on second level of the 'Como' complex, on the corner of Gympie Terrace and Roberts Street. Across the road and with good views of parkland and the river, it's close to all the action of the Noosa River Foreshore precinct. Restaurants, cafe's, bars, shopping - amenity is improving rapidly in this pocket. As is the quality of buildings, with renovations and new builds a common sight. The beauty of this location is that you are a hundred or so meters from the retail precinct - so a little more peaceful than being smack bang in the middle.
The apartment is a little dated, though rooms sizes and floor plan is good. It's a proposition where the bones are there for a cosmetic makeover if and when desired. A lift from the carpark to the second level increases appeal - many apartments in the area are not serviced by a lift (the ones that are are increasingly tightly held).
The view over the parklands are exceptionally good in this pocket - nice grassed spaces without man-made built form such as undercover seating or toilet blocks. Additionally, no power lines impeding the outlook. The pool below is set back from the building - nice to look at, and far enough away as to minimise noise.
A very solid option for those after an easily accessible low maintenance apartment, close to amenity with good views. Its short term holiday rentability adds to the appeal - generate yield year round in and around personal usage.
