The design of this home is on-trend and will appeal to a wide buyer pool. One group however that probably won't appeal to is the retirees as the main living and bedroom is up a flight of stairs without a lift. It is also a large home with good bedroom separation, therefore, would better suit a family with teenagers who would have the lower level to themselves. There is a good-sized yard to put in a pool which may be beneficial as the beach is not as walkable as the beachside of the freeway due to the distance and slope. What you get in return however is the elevation for the view and great access to the freeway to get in and out of the suburb. The property has undergone a change of agents and now a price reduction. It is hard to find sales over $2M in the general vicinity which may affect demand. It is a great home, but it might be an outlier for the area in what is a tricky market currently.
