Although the location is walking distance to the primary school and a little further to the beach and shops it is hard to see this home being suitable for primary school aged children - as it stands it really is just a holiday house in terms of practicality or suitable for a retiree downsizer. There's only one bathroom and limited storage and the third bedroom is small without robes. What I did like about the home is the big light-filled open plan kitchen and living space with views out onto the entertaining deck. The entrance is more like what you'd expect at the rear of a house offering no privacy into the living areas. To counteract the south facing rear the layout of the home on the block and the orientation of the building has been adjusted to make use of the sunlight however this leaves everything feeling backward - the front yard is the back yard and vice versa. The plus is that a young family could extend this home and add more accommodation and storage and fix the privacy issue quite easily.
