First Impression
A beautiful period home in one of Brighton's most tightly held pockets. The character has been retained exceptionally well, while the renovation delivers comfortable family living without trying too hard to be ultra contemporary. The accommodation is generous, the proportions are excellent and the north facing rear garden is a real advantage. The location is undoubtedly one of the major drawcards, being within easy reach of the beach, Bay Street and some of Melbourne's best schools. My only criticism is that the home feels more evolutionary than transformational, so buyers chasing a bold architectural statement may look elsewhere. Overall though, this is a high quality home that will appeal to a broad family market.
