65 years in the same family is unusual these days and it was an honour walking around observing one family's history. You could sense the celebrations and events held here over time.
It is hard to critique the dated decor as its not relevant anymore but the property felt simple, well built and solid but a professional building inspector will confirm or deny. The floor plan was sensible and quite usable with bathrooms and laundry needing updating. The garage on the other hand was full of 'character'. There is parking on site and on the street.
The yard faces North and is large and sunny.
A rebuild or paint and kitchen/bathroom update are both options but I could see another family living here happily for many more years. Whilst the location is not close to the Village, the actual road does lead out onto the arterials that result in the property being very, very central. Once you have worked out the best way to enter and leave the street, it will be easy.
The property was a happy property and I really enjoyed inspecting it as it has a soul.
